How Are the Best Law Firms Rankings Determined?

Now in its 17th edition, Best Law Firms evaluates law firms across the United States based on professional performance and client experiences.

The 2027 rankings cover 127 practice areas and 188 local jurisdictions. The research process incorporates client feedback, peer evaluations, interviews with industry leaders, and an analysis of firm data.

More than 110,000 client references were submitted as part of this year’s research, offering insight into the experiences of people who have worked with participating law firms.
