Sam is a partner at Meshbesher & Spence, where she exclusively practices:

Her practice was greatly influenced by her husband, a former Minneapolis police officer whose career was cut short by a disabling injury. By taking a holistic approach to her clients’ well-being, Sam is known for zealous advocacy while also helping clients prepare for the next stage of their lives.
Sam has successfully argued at the Minnesota Court of Appeals to establish a former employer’s obligation to continue to provide health care to an officer, despite the officer’s disenrollment from the employer’s group health care plan. She has also testified on behalf of injured first responders in legislative committee meetings.
With her husband, Sam co-founded Heroes Helping Heroes, a 501(c)(3), dedicated to providing non-medical support to Minnesota’s first responders by providing free social activities to members. Sam maintains her position as a board member for H3.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, and attending every game at Allen Fieldhouse that her schedule allows.
