Minnesota attorneys, Genevieve Zimmerman & Tony Nemo steered action on defective hip devices that landed $1.4 billion settlement.

โ€œI feel lucky that I can do good for people,โ€ said Zimmerman, who has devoted three years to the case. โ€œThe money canโ€™t put them the way they were before the surgeries, but it will make a difference in their lives.โ€

โ€œA failure rate for a recall is usually around 30 to 40 percent. A nearly 100 percent failure rate for our case is biblical,โ€ said Nemo. โ€œStryker knowingly stuck their rich little head in the sand and ignored any signs of a problem.โ€
