Tony Nemo’s practice focuses on class action, personal injury, and product liability, with a special emphasis on helping people who have been injured by defective drugs and medical devices. Throughout his over 15 years of practice, Mr. Nemo has recovered more than $50 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients.
Mr. Nemo has extensive experience in both the state and federal appeals courts, involving complex issues of federal court jurisdiction, mass tort resolution, and bankruptcy law. He has represented thousands of people injured by medical devices, such as pacemakers, the Copper-7 and Dalkon Shield IUDs, cardio defibrillators, cochlear implants, and surgical mesh. He has also helped clients injured by drugs and over-the-counter medications, including Fen-Phen, Redux, Baycol, Permax, Vioxx, and Zicam.
An attorney with Meshbesher & Spence since 1990, Mr. Nemo currently serves on the Firm's Board of Directors. He has lectured at both local and national continuing legal education seminars, has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Law & Politics, and is listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World.
Mr. Nemo is also actively involved in the Knights of Columbus, the Laymen's Retreat League, the Minnesota Territorial Pioneers, the Owatonna Aware Shrine Club, and the Saint Paul Vulcans.
