“It's terrible to know that your freedom, your connection to friends and family—and your way of living—is all in jeopardy. Because of the hard place they're in, my clients deserve strong, compassionate and effective representation and for more than 25 years I've provided it."
Daniel Guerrero is a criminal defense attorney representing individuals accused of committing misdemeanor and felony offenses, including homicide and firearm offenses in state and federal courts throughout Minnesota. He advocates persuasively for his clients’ cause and insists they be treated fairly. He is committed to uphold the high standards of Minnesota’s criminal defense bar. Throughout his career, Mr. Guerrero has been a respected, well-liked member of Minnesota’s criminal justice community, building and sustaining relationships necessary to achieve optimal results for his clients.
He is skilled in all felony and misdemeanor offenses, including drug and sex offenses, assaults, DUI and traffic violations, theft and embezzlement, expungement and forfeiture law. He is both a trial and an appellate lawyer, having tried over 75 cases to a jury and perfecting dozens of appeals. He cares deeply about his clients. His objective at the conclusion of each case is to know his client is in a better place, with a more positive outlook on life than when he or she first met him.
Mr. Guerrero is a current member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where he served as past President. He is a partner at Meshbesher & Spence, where he has practiced law since graduating from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1989.
