"It's terrible to know that your freedom, your connection to friends and family—and your way of living—is all in jeopardy. Because of the hard place they're in, my clients deserve strong, compassionate and effective representation and for more than 20 years I've provided it."
Daniel Guerrero is a criminal defense attorney representing individuals throughout the state of Minnesota who have been accused of committing misdemeanors or felony offenses, homicide and firearm offenses. He strives to advocate persuasively for his clients’ cause and insists they be treated fairly. He knows that being a criminal defense lawyer is both challenging
and rewarding work and Mr. Guerrero is committed to uphold the high standards of Minnesota’s criminal defense bar. Throughout his career he has been a respected,
well-liked member of Minnesota’s criminal justice system, building and sustaining relationships necessary to achieve optimal results for his client.
He specializes in all felony and misdemeanor offenses, including drug and sex offenses, assaults, DUI/DWI and traffic violations, theft and embezzlement,
expungements and forfeitures. He is both a trial and and appellate lawyer. Mr. Guerrero’s practice also includes some civil rights litigation, representing individuals in cases
of police brutality. He cares deeply about his clients. His goal at the conclusion of each case is to walk out of the courtroom that final time knowing his
client is in a better place, with a more positive outlook on life than where he or she was when he first met them.
Mr. Guerrero has been an attorney at Meshbesher & Spence since graduating from law school in 1989.
