Zachary C. Bauer

Working in Meshbesher & Spence’s Rochester office, Zach focuses on criminal defense and personal injury law. He approaches his work with sensitivity and expertise, offering guidance to clients facing difficult situations. Zach believes that a good lawyer offers appropriate advice and counsel, while allowing clients to ultimately make the decision on whether a resolution or trial is in their best interest.

Zach started his legal career as a public defender and later worked as a prosecutor in Olmsted County. Since 2006, he has worked as a private criminal defense practitioner representing individuals who have been charged with:

• Domestic Assault
• Drug Offenses
• Criminal Sexual Conduct Offenses
• Theft

Over the past 15 years, he has represented clients throughout Southeastern Minnesota and prevailed in dozens of jury trials. Zach has also worked closely with clients who seek to seal or expunge past convictions that are impacting their ability to gain employment or housing.

Zach and his wife Debbie, live in Rochester, Minnesota with their sons, Blake and Gabe. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, basketball and softball.
