She graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, earning certificates in Health Law and Healthcare Compliance, and publishing research in the Mitchell Hamline Journal of Public Policy. During law school, Allison served as an Articles Editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, Volumes 50 and 51, and spent two years as a communications director and student volunteer for the Mitchell Hamline Self Help Clinic. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for both the Health Law Clinic and Civil Dispute Resolution, an honor granted to the highest-scoring student in each law school class.
Originally from Connecticut, Allison graduated summa cum laude from Winona State University with a B.S. in Legal Studies. She served as President of the Legal Association and competed as a collegiate gymnast, developing the discipline and focus she carries into her legal career.
