We are proud of our November Profile featuring Andrew Davick. Andrew is in our St. Cloud office and has been practicing law since 2003. Watch Andrew’s video and read his attorney profile and get to know him a little more.

What has been the most rewarding part of lawyering for you?

Andrew: Helping people. Everyone I come in to contact with has had something bad happen to them in their life. Most are badly injured and being able to help them in some small way is extremely rewarding.

What would you say to someone who is unsure about hiring an attorney?

Andrew: You are almost always better off. The bargaining position of insurance companies and big business is so disparate to an individual who has been injured. Lawyers provide a means of equaling the playing field.

What do you do for fun or hobbies?

Andrew: Hobbies are difficult in our line of work. Any chance I get, I spend it with my family. My kids are 12 and 9 and their activities keep me plenty busy. I guess you could say my hobbies are their hobbies! If you are a parent, you know what I mean! I do enjoy going up north for some rest and relaxation.

What keeps you interested in practicing law?

Andrew: There is always something new. No case is ever the same and although there are daily struggles, the nuances of each case and the new experiences keep you going.

What would you be if you weren’t a lawyer?

Andrew: That is a great question! I am not sure what I would do. People think it is funny that I was a tennis pro/instructor before I went to law school. Although I have hung up the racquets I could see myself teaching and coaching.
